Shipping Information

We offer shipping via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground and USPS Priority Mail to all 50 US States, Military Bases worldwide and Canada. During the holiday season we may add options for express shipping. We ship to APO/FPO addresses, but only by USPS Priority Mail, there are no Express options for APO/FPO locations. APO/FPO orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail and may add extra time to the delivery. Excluding Military Bases, we do not ship to US territories or internationally other than Canada. P.O. Box addresses will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail. Hawaii and Alaska orders will ship by USPS Priority Mail.

Payments

When an order is placed via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) or Google Checkout we only obtain an authorization for the amount of the order. We do not process the transaction until the order actually ships. Orders placed via PayPal are charged immediately. We do not have control over how PayPal works. We can assure our customers we always keep fund in our PayPal account to cover pending orders so if a customer decides to cancel their order the funds are available immediately for a refund. You do not have to wait for the funds to be transferred from our bank account.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are obtained directly from UPS, FedEx and the US Postal Service via the APIs provided by each individual shipping carrier. Shipping rates are based on the shipping destinations and the weights of the products ordered. We offer the customer the best rates avialable to us.

Shipping and Handling General Information

Orders placed with The Knife Professional will ship generally ship within one business day. There is no shipping on weekends or holidays. Large orders may ship in multiple boxes from multiple locations.

Availability

Each item in our store shows the currently availability.

Units in Stock - Products in stock will show an availability of Units in Stock and the Number of Items currenlty in stock. We try our best to keep inventories accurate in our store but mistakes can be made.

Typically Ships within    Days - Products may show an availability of Typically Ships within 5 to 30 Days. These products are typically in stock at our local distributors and will be available for shipping with a the number of business days indicated. Sometimes products become out of stock and back-ordered at our distributors or the manufacturer. In these instances there may be a longer lead time until the items ships than is indicated by the number of days. The customer will always be notified and given the option to wait or cancel the item. By not stocking all the item we carry we are able to provide the customer with the lowest possible prices.

Drop Shipment

Some of the products we carry ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor using their carrier of choice.

Track Your Order and Delivery Confirmation

When your order ships you will be notified by email of the shipment and provided a tracking number. The UPS and FedEx tracking number provides an accurate location of your order. The delivery confirmation number provided by USPS does not provide the same level of tracking as UPS, but does indicate when the package is scanned leaving our facility and sometimes as it enters and leaves sorting centers, then finally at time of delivery. The Knife Professional does not ship internationally except for Canada.
